What are some reasons to get a license for more than 3 dogs?

We already have 3 dogs and that is the limit over here but, we found a lost stray little girl puppy and she is so sweet! I could never give up the dogs we have. And if no one wants the stray we are gonna take her to the pound. But I want to know what are some good reasons to get a dog license that allows you to have more than 3 dogs?? I cant seem to find any info on it. So please help!!

Well a license for them is important so if they get lost or found by the pound then you will be contacted. But a license for you to have more then 3 dogs? I don’t know why that’s even required, but I guess….safety reasons? or maybe some kind of neighborhood thing what with noise and them being around little kids. Not too sure on all that though.

probobly not every person is capable to take care of and be responsible for three dogs just a guesss

The liscence is really meant for breeders. The reason the limit is 3 is because after that dogs start to form packs and tend to become more aggresive and protective. My ex boyfriend’s mother breeds dogs for a living so she has that liscence and another one saying she is permitted to breed a dogs and what not as well.

on top of this with people who are irresponsible it prevents alot of inbreeding and puppymills
