Your opinion on a 13 year old babysitting

nope. maybe take a cpr or 1st aid class though to make yourself more trustworthy.

I am a 13 year old babysitter. but my mom made me take a class to get certified

I wasnt allowed and honestly, I wouldnt want my kid in the hands of a thirteen year old( nothing against you at all, just thats a young age). once I turned 14 I babysat all the time..16+ is best though because they can drive the kids around. get CPR certified and that will give you even more of an edge

amba611, I am 13 and I know how to do cpr, feed, change a baby’s deaper and take care of them. My mom was a daycare provider so I know all about that stuff plus I also took a cpr/first aid class. I bet I could babysit just as good as any other 20 year old or maybe even better, so stop talking sht , btch! and yes, I do think you are at an appropriate age!

13 is iffy. You have to be able to take care of any problems that may arise, and you must be responsible (especcially with young ones, they need extra attenion) Trust me. I have a 2 and a half year old constantly finding new ways to get into trouble.

also talk to your mom and discuss it better , explain your reasoning!

yeah your old enough..I started at age 10

I started babysitting at age 12. But I do NOT babysit 5 years and younger, when I was that young. I just don’t trust myself quite just yet. When I am 16, I wish to babysit infants. : ) I did take a first ade class, and got a license at the America Cross center. They really teach you everything about babysitting. Tomorrow I have to babysit a 3 year old, and 13 is a good age for watching toddlers. Not yet infants.

these kids dont know what they are talking about what if the kid is choking what are you gunna do you will freeze and any like I dont know 10, 11, 12, 13,14,15,16 your still kids my kids stays with people over the age of 20 they know what to do if som thing was to happen kids get a baby doll and if your 10 stayin a home you have horrible parent your not allowed to do that you need to be at leasr 14 to stay home by your self and agian do you know how to change a babys diaper feed them take care of them should I say NO YOU DONT you might think you do BUT YOU DONT take care:)

13 is pretty iffy. It all depends on if you’re responsible enough to handle kids, especcially the real young ones. If there’s a problem you need to be able to handle it.
