Why do I smell like ammonia down there?

Well right before I came on my peroid I treated myself for bv. Then I started feeling a yeast infection comming on. Then my period came and now the smell of ammonia SLAPPED me in the face. If I’m still having problems out of this hole down there after my period is gone I’m going to the doctor first thing!!

WHAT CAN I TAKE OR DO AT HOME FOR THE ODOR I CAN’T AFFORD TO GO TO THE DOCTOR. I DO HAVE ODOR MY UNERWEAR GET DAMP WITH AN ODOR. SOMETIMES I FEEL LIKE I HAVE A CUT ON THE TIP OF MY VULVA IS THAT HERPES? I HAD AN EXAM LIKE 21/2YRS BUT THEY SAID NEG FOR HERPES MAYBE BECAUSE I PUT A LITTLE POWDER DOWN THERE BECAUSE OF THE ODOR THEN IN THE WAITING ROOM WAITING TO BE SEEN I GOT A PAPER TOWEL AND WASHED MYSELF DOWN THERE WITH SOAP AND WATER.THE PERSON THAT TOLD ME TO GET CHECKED HAD HERPES SO HE TOLD ME TO GET CHECKED COULD THAT BE WHY IT WAS NEG. BECAUSE OF THE POWDER AND SOAP? THE BOY TOLD ME I NEED TO BE TESTED WITH MY BLOOD? I EVEN ARGUED WITH THE DOCTOR THAT I HAD SOMETHING BUT HE SAID I HAD NOYHING. TO THIS DAY I STILL HAVE SYMPTOMS BUT DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO. WHAT ABOUT THAT PACKAGE YOU CAN BUY OVER THE COUNTER BY VAGISIL WOULD THAT TELL ME IF I HAVE HERPES OR SOMETHING ELSE?

my momma said that u sweat everywhere skin is… u do have skin on your vagina, so that means that u sweat down there too. some women have a powerful sweat odor so they have to put on some special deoderant under their arms (armpits). u might have a powerful vagina sweat odor. my momma also told me to put deoderant around it. not ON it, but around it. if u put the deoderant on it, it will burn lik crazii. i dont put deoderant on mine anymore because i was waisting my deoderant because i didnt ever need it. but im just tryin 2 help u :)

As most health professionals will tell you - the vagina is a VERY acidic environment.

The ammonia like smell is probably a concentration of urine on your panties.

Trying using a panti liner (preferably one that is scent-less) - and instead of using regular toilet tissue … use non-scented (non-soap) wipes

Constantly soaping your vagina will remove the “good” bacteria and open yourself to infections
