It means you will be doing most of the work…so yeah a headboard or bars on the bed are useful.

It’s a lot easier if you have something to grab onto like a headboard or the back of a couch so there is something to pressure your weight on while going up and down. I have a really hard time doing it if there isn’t something to hold onto so hopefully you can figure something out.
