Will a perm ever ware off?

My mom permed my hair in september and im really irritated now because I keep hearing that you have to grow your natural hair out and cut the relaxed hair off is that true (I want to grow my non relaxed hair out)

It is better to use another perm to straighten your hair then it is to use a relaxer. You cannot do anything chemical to your hair until the relaxed parts have grown out without causing severe damage to your hair. If you want to straighten it, get a perm for color treated hair, it is less damaging to your hair, put the perm solution right on your hair and comb it straight thru for about 10 minutes. Rinse, and then add the neutralizer like it says too and comb that thru also. Make sure to do a deep conditioning treatment before and after doing this. I have used this method several times over the years with good results. Be warned though, it does make it harder to curl your hair with a curling iron or hot rollers.

I have a straight perm and it have worked bc I have reallly stong hair and I have to wait about 4 months till its back to normal I miss my hair :(

The more you wash it and the more you brush it out the looser the curls will become. If your hair had some natural wave to it before the perm will bring that out more and you will find that your hair is harder to straighten. But it will look very natural . Ichibanarky is right though, it will probably grow out before it wears out.

get some hair treatment for it, it will wear off faster, but it does…eventually

It can wear out, but usually, it grows out first.

You can get a relaxer to straighten the hair.

give it 6 months. if you didnt want it to last you shouldnt have gotten it in the first place
