Why won't my real player download certain videos?
Okay so I just figured out how to download you tube videos “using a real player”onto my I-pod, computer, even make dvds. I’m having a serious issue and need some advise…why will it only let me download certain videos? The videos I’m tring to download are mostly educational so I thought it was strange that it will let me down load music and not something I can use for school presentations. When this problem occurs it say in the download box under the video title unable to download. Why? What can I do to get it to work?
Videos are made from certain languages called “codecs”. If a video is made in a codec your computer doesnt understand then it will not play. A common no-nonsense solution is to use VLC media player as it has most codecs built in.
