Why should I be friends with my ex-boyfriend now?

After breaking up with me, I decided it would be best if he and I werent friends eventhough were going to be in the same class until summer vacation. Well, he called me because he had missed class due to attending a funeral.when I offered him my support, he just said “not much you can do.thanks though!” the next time I saw him, he didnt talk to me I mean he still looks at me in class but nothing else. What should I do now if anything?

hmm I think you shouldnt be friends with him I mean you guys can still talk from time to time and say the odd hello but it may make things a bit awkward if you’re still friends
