Why? Its not fair, how has this happened?

My auntie recently suffered an ectopic pregnancy, she just started to get back on top, but last week had to have surgery. When they removed the tube some of the egg broke off or something. She has had to go back into hospital today because she is still showing up as pregnant. But she isn’t. Does anyone know what it could be, they are giving her a chemotherapy drug, but we don’t know what for were all nervous for her, she’s terrified x
