Why is the divorce rate of Americans so high?

They think they are in love but not even close.It’s sad really.80% of a child’s parents are divorsed or seperated.Most divorces happen after a child is born.

yupp people think they are in luv sooo they get married then they find out they really like the person enough 2 be married to them…I think that people shuld wait to geet married until they actually WANT to be with sumone for the rest of their life.Because if they do there would be less divorces and fights and that I think would lead to the start of a more peaceful world…(just my opinoin)…but when people get married they are making a promise to love and cherish this one person for the rest of their lives so they shuld wait until they know they love this person. hope it helps ;]

When people live with each other they often find out they are not the right ones for each other or they see there are better ones and think they live only once

yeah, I agree with takingcover_24.. society now days feed off of peer pressure, more and more is created everyday, and we just follow it.. how rare is it to know someone who married their first boyfriend? very rare.. I think we are carelessly depending on the image of marriage instead of the actual meaning of the life long commitment.. if only people would see true love for what it really is, no matter the storm or situation, the marriage will still hold together, that is true love.. and waking up everyday and fall in love deeper. I just think people should slow down, and take a breather, and really look at the relationship before jumping in and saying I do.. that’s just my opinion though..
