Why is my dog whining?

My dog is winning a lot I think it is because my girl dog is in heat but I am not sure and he does not eat is that normal

Answer #1

It could be that he could be I pain or some sort of health problem so taking him to vetenirian would be the good thing to do, incase something sirius is wrong with him..

Answer #2

Well…I’d say if he doesn’t act sick, or hurt (is he lethargic and sleeping a lot? Or is he nervous and active??)…then whining and not eating is most definately because your female is in heat.

Answer #3

When females go into heat and there is a male that is Not Neutered in the house, they will whine and try to do anything they can to get to the female and mate with her. When a female is in heat, males are not interested in food, slow down a lot on their eating and lose weight! When your female needs to go potty, you need to go with her and stay with her till she finishes then bring her back inside with you! Never leave a female in heat outside unsupervised. Other male dogs that are not Neutered, can smell a female in heat from miles away and will do anything it takes to get to the female, mate with her and get her pregnant! If you are going to keep both dogs in the house, then you need to separate your dogs into separate rooms in the house and keep them separated, with your eye’s on them all the time or bring your male to a friend or family members house that you trust to stay, until your female is no longer in heat. Females are in heat for 3 weeks. After your female comes out of heat, please have her Spayed and also get your male Neutered!
