Why dont I think im pretty?

Everyone says im gorgeous, but I think im an ugly troll. I dont find any beauty in myself at all. Why is that?

Answer #1

Ok first, you are not an ugly troll! now, I think that you should look in the mirror and find all the things you like about yourself. (And there will be a lot!) You are really beautiful. Anyone can see it.

What is ugly? Everyone is different in there own way. some people have big eyes, small eyes, round heads, or what ever, but they all are beautiful.
If someone doesn’t look like a super modal or someone on tv does not mean there ugly. Like I said before look in the mirror, see how no one looks like you. See how no one will ever look like you.

your the only person in the world who has the beauty that you have. so back to your question… Maybe you don’t give your self a lot of compliments. maybe you keep compareing your self to other girls. just try and notice your beauty…

LOL hope I helped alittle.

Answer #2

you may have low self confidience in yourself. try looking at your pictures and see how pretty you look.

Answer #3

Woww you are SO not an ugly troll.

You are REALLY pretty, your look is exotic and thats really attractive (:

Answer #4

You need more confidence. That’s all I have to say. If you THINK you’re ugly. You ARE ugly. End of story.

Answer #5

I don’t know I feel like that to except nobody says im pretty lol. you really are pretty. its probly cause you may have low self esteem we all see ourselves diferently and I guess its just going to take some time for us ot see our natural beaty…keep to staying positive thou tell urelf your beautiful even if you dont believe it at first and think of ho wlucky you ar!

Answer #6

It’s not the exterior that matters anyway. Someone can be ‘ugly’ on the outside but beautiful on the inside. If someone (everyone) says you’re gorgeous, then take it as a compliment. That’s a very nice thing for them to say. Just say ‘Thank you’ and don’t worry about it. I know, ‘easier said than done’, but think about it…you know that there are people out there that are worse off than you are.

I can’t find any information on it now, but about a year ago I read an article in Seventeen about a girl who woke up one day and saw all these scratches and craters on her nose, but nobody else could see them, which evolved into a full blown disorder where she saw everything wrong with herself, a distorted body image. It was rare and furthermore, not publicized as society is likely to dismiss it as “just being a teenager”. However, it is dangerous and can lead to things like anorexia and depression. If you find yourself feeling totally miserable about the way you look, try speaking to your parents about a therapist, because this is a real condition believe it or not. I wish I could show you the article. This girl drew a picture of how she thought she looked, what she actually saw in the mirror, it was so disproportionate, and scratches and huge nose, etc. Then it showed an actual Kodak photo of the girl, and she looked like she could’ve been a Dolce & Gabbana model. I’m not going to try to console you like “oh don’t worry your so pretty” because although you are, I understand that I can’t make you believe that if you really do have a problem. I do hope this helps, and hope you build a higher self esteem. =)

Answer #8

same with me, I think im ugly and fat and whenever I say im fat I usually get hit by one of my friends, I dont know why, maybe we know what we want to see, and seeing what we dont, its confusing :/

Answer #9

I don’t know why you think that but you are very pretty

Answer #10

I researched it a lot, and its so rare, that it was insanely hard to look for the actual name of the disorder. I just found it, it’s called

Body Dysmorphic Disorder

:] Hope this really does help.
