why don't everybody like the rebal flag?

The rebel flag is still used as a symbol of racism. The KKK proudly displays it. White supremists also. There are people who will try to defend it’s use by saying it is ‘historic’. Yes, it is part of history but part of a bad, cruel history. The nazi flag is also ‘historical’. It is used in the same way as the rebel flag to promote racist views. I see you live in Georgia. Surely you know the answer to your own question. Unless you think the rebel flag should still be proudly displayed.

its because it represented the south in the civil war, which wanted slavery(even though the south no longer wants slavery) and a lot of people find it offensive still

The rebel flag stands for anachy and it opposes national goverment. It is also seen as a racist symbol because of african americans being enslaved by the south which flew the rebel flag. As you probly dont know the civil war was fought over state rights not just slavery the south (confederacy) believed the state should b able to over rule national laws while the north (Union) believed a national goverment was needed and should overpower all state goverments.
