Why does my lip piercing smell?

Its not infected. I looked it up online and it says to washe the hole and the bar everyday, witch I do. Is there anything else you could tell me on how to prevent it from smelling?

You should keep it dry, the smell might be infection breeding in the wetness. Dry it with a cotton wool stick thing, make sure its clean though. You could try drying it with a hair drier on the cold setting.

this is usually caused from bacteria and yes I know it sounds gross but it could also be caused from rotting skin what do you use to clean it? some people say that you shouldnt use rubbing alcohol on it since it promotes scar tissue but rubbing alcohol will most likely get rid of that smell for ya hope I helped :)

I use what the place I got my lip done gave me to clean it with. lasts ages lol
