Why does it hurt when I cum?

ok I just recently had a kidney stone and I passed it with no problem but shorty after I passed the stone I noticed when having intercourse with my girlfriend when I climaxed I got a shooting pain the ran from the base of my penis to the head does anyone have any idea as to why? oh and I never experienced this before the kidney stone or when I’ve had other kidney stones.
