Why does it hurt when me and my boyfriend have sex?

Why does it hurt when me and my boyfriend have sex? he’s fingered me beofre… and we’ve had sex over 20 times! it shouldn’t still be hurting right? does anybody know why it is? or what I can do so it won’t hurt anymore?? HELP:(

Hi hun, when you attempt to have sex are you always properly aroused and lubricated? When you are aroused the vaginal canal lengthens by about 60% to accommodate for a penis, so make sure you spend at least 30 minutes (maybe more depends on you) on foreplay (kissing, oral, etc) to get properly aroused. If you are not lubricated (use a water based lubricant) then it can cause friction down there and be uncomfortable. Lastly, are you using condoms? You might have something like HPV or a STD, go and get checked out by your doctor.
