Why do women write guys in jail?

I know a girl that writes guys in jail? Why would a girl even entertain some dude that is in jail. It seems pretty pathetic to me.

I was thinking about the low self esteem issue. It makes the most sense because these jailbirds do write the sweetest letters. I guess she probably likes the attention. It is good to see someone else feels the same way I feel about it.

hey if I got the chance to right to a murderer or something I would. not all the people in there are bad people. they made mistakes but still, I think it would be interesting.
