Why do they ask for fresh fruits?
I was watching a shaytards video and when they crossed into california from nevada, they drove through toll booth looking things and when they got to the booth, the booth person asked “do you have any fresh fruits?” why do they ask that?
I think they ask that because some fruits are illegal in some countries or something like that. and I don’t know why
mabe they are random…haha its fun being random.

Whenever you drive into California from another state, there are agricultural inspection stations where they ask you if you are carrying any produce. They do this because California is a huge exporter, particularly of fruits/vegetables, and they don’t want people bringing in plant diseases that can destroy crops and hurt the state’s economy, which is the eighth largest in the world. You are only allowed to bring in produce by license, otherwise they take whatever you are carrying and burn it.
no but I think it’s a mandatory question they have to ask people who are entering the state..
