Why do some people find it weird if a girl asks out a guy?

I’ve heard diff things from people, and I honestly think thats it’s ok. One of my friends thinks that the guys should be the one’s chasing the girls. I used to think so too, but I did ask a guy out. I was proud of myself lol. haha Anywho, what do you think? Thanks! A guys opinion would be nice too haha

I guess theres nothing wrong with it , just depends on the guy

I could understand why a guy would be flattered if you did

but a girl once asked me out and it just felt weird cus I had neva been in that situation before long story short we broke up after about a week
