Why do I listen to them.Can I prove them wrong?

Im not sure why but recntly at school,someone would say something heartful I autnaticly get upset and want to prove them wrong.Today someone said I cut my wrists and im a dark person because I where black which I dont even always do! and because I have black and red hair.And to be hones t im not exaxtly a strong person and is sensative. but now I want to prove them wrong tommorrow for non uniform day but dont know what to do or if I should bother!

Sure, wear the brightest colors possible. You listen because they are negative comments, and you want to change yourself to please them. I’ve been told I was fat, but those comments didnt bother me baecause I didnt care. Being sensative is natural. Just try your best to be left offended by everything. -heartingg

I say don’t bother. Screw that person. If you dont cut yourself then there are no marks on your wrists. That alone proves them wrong.

If you’d like to do something anyway then you could wear a tie-dye shirt. Who can call you dark when you’re wearing a bunch of bright colors?
