ok when I get mad at some one why do I hit my self

why put pain on yourself.. I mean there has to be a reason why you cant talk on the phone.. parents can be harsh and mean sometimes but you shouldnt put pain on you for your girlfriend.. I mean talk to her when you get the chance. maybe its best you dont talk on the phone I mean you can still talk on the computer and in person.. I mean hurting yourself isnt gonna solve the problem… just do what you think is best and dont hurt yourself.

Because you haven’t learned to deal with your emotions in the proper way. A mature adult wouldn’t hit themselves if they did not get their way. Is there a reason your girlfriend’s parents will not let you talk to them? Did something happen that caused them to not trust you two?

I tend to do the same thing. For me I concentrate on the pain and it helps me not think about my problems. It also occupies me.
