Why do I feel depressed?

I am a straight A student in Pharmacy school, I have a wonderful girlfriend, friends that care about me, and a loving family. I for some reason get these times where I just feel alone and nothing is working. I even think about suicide and I have tons of dreams of people close to me or myself dieing. I don’t understand the reasons I feel this way, but I can’t prevent it. Someone please help.

It’s always good to have people close to you. You should seek counseling to clear up this depression. You could be feeling depressed for many reasons. Try talking to people who are close to you such as your girlfriend or some of your family members. Or, if you attend church, you could speak to members of your church or leaders. I would recomend counseling though. Professionals know more on our behaviors then we do or people cloesest to us. I believe in counseling. I think it’ll help. I know counseling helps for me. People get this way during the holiday season. I’ve been there done that with depression and having thoughts of suicide. I even dreamed about death and the same people closest to me. I’m going through counseling right now for my problems and so far, it’s been helping me. Suicide isn’t the way out! I had to find out myself. I even had those moments where I felt like comitting suicide. I’ve been in your shoes even though I have allot of people that care about me but, no boyfriend. I have all church members and others that care about me. I had to cry for help. Please, don’t comitt suicide. The Lord put you on earth for a reason. Just think of the people that love and care about you. Think how your girlfriend would feel if you did that. You wouldn’t want her grief stricken would you? So, see if you could get some counseling. It really would do you some good. Take care! and don’t do what I was going to do. I know for me, comitting suicide would’ve been okay for my family but, not my church friends. Since I have problems with my family, that’s how my depression symptoms started. So, see what you could do by talking to someone such as members of your family, your girlfriend, members and leaders in church, ect. Definitely, seek counseling. One more thing, you’re not alone. People all over go through this. I hear about it everyday.
