Why do girls try to control my choices?

maybe she likes you for you. and not who you are when your doped up or drunk. she not doing it to be controling shes doing it for you. and you dont apreciate it. maybe you should stop thinking of the high from drugs and try the high from love:) if shes not important enough to you then she is too good for you.

Maybe its not her trying to be controlling but doesn’t want a her guy to do that. She doesn’t like that in a guy. If you’re gonna do it despite what she likes then my advice is to leave her because that’s all the drugs will do.

ill start with the one I find least destructive - drinking - perfectly fine WHEN DONE IN SMALL AMOUNTS., smoking, very damaging and makes you stink, drugs? well they might make you feel good at the time but you might regret it one day, I don’t understand why this girl want to have a relationship with someone who feels she is controlling them. do her a favour and let her go

Smoke ok Drink fine but snort pills??? what do you mean by that … she is not trying to control you she is trying to make sure you dont get hurt or anything like that she really cares about you and they only reason she dont want you doing stuff like that is probably because she dont want to see you hurt or anything like that maybe she thinks it changes who you really are and maybe she just wants to see the real you the real guy that she is dating… I have been in the same place as your girl, we dont want to see some guy like that we worry about you guys. we want to see the real you not the drunk or high you just YOU the YOU that we like and are dating

The idea that someone close to you is not affected by your behavior is mind-bogglingly short-sighted and staggeringly selfish. Be thankful you have anyone around you at all that will put up with your self-destructive behavior enough to actually care about what happens to you. You should be abjectly thanking her for not abandoning you, not criticizing her for trying to help.
