Why do clothes turn inside-out in the washing machine?

Unless it’s a thick piece of clothing, most of my clothes always turn inside-out (tag outside) after they are washed. I hate having to turn everything back outside-in. ;) Anyone know why this happens? So weird.

Answer #1

outside-in becomes inside-out. inside-out STAYS inside-out. Ya dig? ;)

Answer #2

then why dont you initially put your shirts in the washing machine inside out.

Answer #3

interesting question :) I dont know too. probably from too much turning? LOL

Answer #4

it is the washing machine gremlins, you can tell they were there because they shed lint in the washing machine and dryer it is their job to turn things inside out and also to take socks.
