Why cant I talk much?

1st I wanna tell you guys that im new to funadvice..n I am from maldives.im a nursing student.so hv to talk to many kind of people. and I nyd to have frnds to go on in dis..but d problm is that I cant talk.if someone say to me smthng or ask,I just give the replys.but I cant start any talkin.dats why my classmates are also ignorin me.for them I mean nothin..n because of this problem in me I don’t hv frnds also..n fyls very alone in my lyf.plx tell me how I can talk like others or how I handle this problem..hope to get d answers soon.n hope to get gud frnds here..tata

find a common ground. something you have in common with the people. that is always a good place to start. im sure youve had lab partners or study partners before. dont act depressed laugh when its appropriate , and smile because no one really wants to talk to a person if they know that you might take their mood down. just some techniques I use hope I helped!
