Why are these anorexic posts getting locked?

I understand that these posts attract young girls and usually give the wrong idea about anorexia but it makes no difference whether they get locked or not. The people who answer are mostly against anorexia and the original post is still there for all to see. I don’t want to start another debate but it’s really annoying… some people just want to see the responses. Why do these anti-anorexics have to be so unfair?

You don’t want to start a debate yet you posted it as a public question? Okay… when people sign up for FunAdvice they agree to the terms or use. The terms of use states that anything to do with self harm will be locked. Anorexia is clearly self harm, its a disease do you not realize how bad it is? Theres so many girls who have this thought in their head that anorexia will just make them skinny and thats it, but its way more then that, and obviously your one of those people who just don’t understand. These types of posts make me so angry because how can someone not understand why they are locked… honestly, I don’t get it. Obviously we are going to be against anorexia, and aren’t going to let people basically advertise the disease on this site. People putting posts about it could, and most likely would encourage people to take part. Its absolutely horrible. Us locking them does make a difference, it makes it so people cant get encouraged by it. People don’t even really get the chance to reply to the anorexic questions because usually one of the advisors/editors/ect. gets to it real quick. Well duh, obviously we are against anorexia because we actually know the long and short time effects. How are we being unfair? You expect us to just let people post pro-ana things? You must be out of your mind! People posting questions “How do I become anorexic?” you want us to sit there and give them step by step directions on how to basically kill themselves? Sorry for us wanting to help people, and prevent life threatening diseases… No offense but your making yourself look a bit foolish. Not just because of the question… but because you are 12 YEARS OLD and your trying to prove a bunch of adults wrong.
