Why are old games expensive

Why is final fantasy 7 $70 dollars,Its supposed to be good I know but it is old, It was probabaly only $50 when it came out. Also why is pikmin 2 $50,it was made in 2004.Also why is final fantasy 11 $61. Also I know this is off topic but is shadow of the collosus a good game.Wh

well there niot that old games like pokemon yellow on gameboy sell for around $10 now despite being around $60 when they came out and older consols go down in price unless there extremeley rare like the nintendo coffe table, which you couldd play a few games on new consols like an xbox, playstation 1and 2, gamebube, ect go for much cheaper now, because newer and so called better consols are out now games will eventually go a lot down in price once a new consol comes out it also depends on wree you get them, as some people still charge a rip-off for old things

Depends on how good the game is. Final Fantasy has 3 discs and is in a high demand so it will cost more.

Again, the pikman is either:A) Really good or B)people just buy it. They like it they have to increase the price so they can meet the production demand.

I dunno about the last question…I’ll have to look it up and play it :)
