My friend is cutting and I dont know who I should tell. She is not cutting bad, at all. But should I have a teacher who she trusts and looks up to talk to her and have her handle it from there? or should I go straight to the guidance counselers?

I know that I had the same problem as your friend and I know that I didnt want anyone to find out but my friends knew... maybe she just needs someone to talk to and just to listen to what she has to say.. I know that when I talked to my friends that that made me feel better and it made me talk more about it then cutting and keeping all the things that hurt inside.
You should talk to a guidence counselor because he/she can help you and your friend. A teacher just teaches you stuff. But if a counselor is not someone you think she doesnt really trust, then you should talk to a trusted teacher.
talk to her find out why and see if you can help but just cause its not bad now does not mean a thing trust me it does not usually start out bad but eventually it will be I would know if you have anymore questions message me
