Who's job is it to help you make sure your music is professional?

Whos job is it to help you make sure your music has a good tempo, has the good tones and helps the song sound professional ? is it the music manager ? Cause from all my research that I’ve done its not. But I cant find out who’s job that is. Can Someone Please help me that knows a lot about the music business?

Utopia is right - the producer is the one who decides how it’s going to sound, but there is another final step if you’re doing a CD and thats the mastering. The mastering engineer will make sure all the songs are the right distance apart and that the volume/loudness is consistent. At that point the quiet songs can be made louder and any clipping or distortion can also be fixed.
