prove that if a line has slope m and y-intercept b,then an equation of the line is y=mx+b.(Hint:Use the point-slope equation theorum.)

lets say y=1 and x=2 y+y1=m(x+x1) y+1=mx+2 -1 y=mx+1 aka y=mx+b hope I helped
