These kids where all at a party and a fight broke out.my son was 17 and didnt know that the other was 16 and got a ticket 75 days later for endangering the welfare of a child.what should we do in court?

What should you do in court? Considering your son WAS endangering the welfare of a child, you should tell the judge, ‘’Your honor, my son is a jackass. Please make him pick up roadside litter for a few months so he can learn the consequences of acting like a jackass.”

Your son is just going to have to accept the consequences of his actions.

I didn’t know is, unfortunately, not a legitimate defense. He shouldn’t have been fighting in the first place.

There is nothing you can do. He chose to faught and like an adult he will have to face the consequences of his actions.
