Which burns more calories, a sit up or crunches?

Sit ups burn more calories…but you don’t associate burning calories with resistant training you mostly associate it with cardio workouts such as running your a*ss 10 times around a mountain…sit ups and crunches just help define your body…so if you are overweight and the only exercise you want to do before you go to bed is 100 sit ups because it burns more calories your not going to get anywhere…you need to BURN CALORIES AS A WHOLE BODY then use sit ups or crunches to define and tone your body.Trust me no easy way out of this…we all gotta cry and feel like torching our gym equipment sometimes…

Sit ups use more muscle groups that crunches. But if you’re concerned about burning calories, then cardio routines (using the entire body) would be far more effective than isolated exercise…
