Where to get my tattoos that wont look bad with formal wear?

Every tattoo you get that will be visible sometimes, will be visible sometimes. You really can’t have a tattoo that you want sometimes and you don’t want other times. Yes, you can get the tattoo in places you may not expose all the time, but no matter where you get it it’s always going to be there and it’s going to show at the pool, wearing strapless dresses, when you wear your hair up, etc. Tattoos aren’t for everyone and not everyone likes the permanence of tattoos. Just because your mom thinks it would be tacky, doesn’t mean you agree. If you do, maybe you shouldn’t get one. If you really want a specific tattoo then you won’t care who sees it or what they think of it. It’s your personal choice. I do, however, think all tattoos should be able to be covered when appropriate, but you need to decide when it’s appropriate for your tattoo to show according to your tastes and the way you dress. If you often wear your hair up, then a neck tattoo may not be the placement for you. On the other hand, if you seldom wear bikinis or short tops, getting it on your lower back may not be the placement for you either because your tattoo will always be covered. I have a tattoo on my foot that wraps halfway around my ankle and I love it. It shows when I wear shorts and sandals or if I’m at the beach/pool, but other than that no one hardly ever sees it. It’s a good place to let a tattoo show when you want it to or cover it when you don’t. It is, however, always visible to me and when I wear any kind of shoes without socks. There is no ‘magic’ place to get a tattoo that is perfect. Think long and hard about it, but in the end get what tattoo you want, where you want it.
