Where can I retake my maths gcse?

I’m 17 and gained 8 A-C gcses, but got an E in maths. I went to college for a year but dropped out, I was meant to retake my gcse in the second year. I would ideally like to start now, but im not sure about whether I will have to start in september if I approach a college.

I just wondered if anyone had any advice about what to do next? would I have to pay fees?

Thank you :)

Oh, you’re talking about taking the class, I thought you just wanted to sit for the exam. Yeah, it’s too late to start now. You can take it in november… That way you dont have to wait a whole year, you can apply for colleges this year? But its up to you…

yeah I spoke to my old school but they said that I’d have to wait until september to start the course. I think I’ll have to do that because I’m so hopeless at maths I couldn’t learn it all by this years exams!

thanks for answering!

There’s exams coming up in may/june right? You can try then… I think the retakes are in november. Pretty sure you have to pay to take the exam? I wish I knew more about the British system. Why dont you contact your old school?
