when you lose your virginity,can your doctor know?

Since a lot of girls do NOT have intact hymens it would be hard for a doctor to tell if you’ve had sex. Your hymen can be broken (torn, popped) from a lot of different activities…including excercise, gymnastics, dancing, horseback riding, sexual intercourse, fingering, etc. Having a torn hymen does not mean that you’ve had sex. Some girls are also not born with hymens.

So no, a doctor can not tell if you’ve had sex…they can only tell if you’re hymen is broken. And a doctor feeling you (in there) would not do anything either. They certainly can NOT tell just by looking at you or feeling you. They most likely would ask you questions and see how you answer, they would look at things like your body language to see if they can tell if you’re lying.

Err… Shouldn’t YOU know if you lost your virginity or not? I don’t mean it rudely, but… If you’ve had sex, then you’ve lost your virginity. And I think that one would know if they had intercourse or not…

I think what she is trying to say is can her doctor tell that she has lost her virginity, not can her doctor look and tell HER if she has lost it.

And yes, they can, but it CAN be caused by other things. Your hymen breaking could easily be caused by things besides sex.

actully doctors can tell by asking you certain quistens and if they feel certain parts of your stomach they can tell your hymen is broken but if a male doctor ask you to pull down your pants so he can check I would request a female just because of the way the doctors have to touch you there

well… just simple… have you have had sex or not. If yes you had sex , meaning intorcourse of a penis and a vagina, then you are not a virgin, If you have only masterbated and got fingered and you hymen broke then yes you are a virgin.

yes,I doctor can know about your virginity .if your hymen has broken that mean you are not virgin.

No. All the physical signs can be caused by other things besides sex.

yeah he can find out but not just by looking he has to do some feeling also
