When should I take it out, beforeor after I pee?

This is the first time I’ve used a tampon and I have to pee but I was wonderin if I have to take it out before I pee I think so but I wanted to make sure

You don’t have to take it out before you pee. Some girls however don’t like to pee with the tampon in and then take it out. It’s all up to you.

I personally don’t take it out. I’ll only pee about once with one in though, then if I need to pee again I’ll change it next time that I go. But when you do change, just make sure your clean down their and wash your hands to.

you can keep a tampon in for up to 8 hours but if you are heavy and feel like changing it sooner you can and no you dont have to take it out before you pee or after I usually dont pee that often during the day so usually I go to the bathroom whenever I feel its been in long enough and take a piece of toilet paper and remove it by the string you can then pee before or after but make sure to wash your hands before you go pee because when you are putting in the next tampon you dont want any germs getting on it because that can cause infection…dont worry you will get the hang of it soon dont worry so much!
