When should I go in for a kiss?

okay so me and this guy have liked eachother for about a month and a half, and I really want to kiss him at the end of school one day but everytime the end of the day comes we just hug and I chicken out. I was hoping he would make the first move but im not sure. what should I do?

When you go in for a hug, just kiss him on the cheek. Get comfortable doing that. Then one day, instead of kissing him on the cheek, catch him as he is going in to hug you and give him a peck on the lips. Just be careful that you don’t bust each others noses bc you are in too big of a hurry to catch your bus or whatever you have to do.
