When is the best time to ask a woman for marriage?

I want to ask my girlfriend to marry me and start a family together but my friends at work said that she might say no and screw up the relationship because she is not ready in her age (21) So what age does a woman start thinking about marriage or want to get married? And in what age do women want to have a baby?

I’m 18, have been in a relationship for a year and a half with my 22 year old boyfriend. I have the opposite problem lol. I want to get married when I’m 20 and start having kids right after when I’m 21 or 22. My boyfriend doesn’t want to get married for at least 5 years though so I’m out of luck! Most women want to wait until they’re in their late 20’s or early 30’s to get married and have a family…which I think is a late start! But I suppose it’s because they want to make sure their financially secure, independent, and have lived the “party” life. It definately depends on her personality and the goals she has set out for herself.

I dont think 21 is too young to get engaged and start planning a wedding at all. Every girl is different though, some want to get married and start a family young, some want to wait until they are older and have accomplished more in their life. Only you know which one your girlfriend is. Has she ever dropped any hints to you that she wants to get married? Has she ever mentioned anything about starting a family?
