When I get my braces will it affect my saxophone playing?

I am getting braces on tuesday and I am worried about my tone quality.

I have been playiing sax for quite some time now. I had braces and it doesnt effect your tone quality, it just cuts your bottom lip up a bit.

ofcourse you can!! though not the first day and not when they tighten the thingy’s lol because it’d really hurt if your teeth bump into ANYTHING!!! :W

I play braces and have tenor sax. lol I mean I have braces and I play tenor sax. It doesn’t affect your playing any. Try not to bump your teeth on the mouthpiece when you get them tightened, tho. That can hurt. Hope I helped! :)
