When dyeing hair mulitiple colors...

I want to know how to make black fade into another color.

The colors im going to use are black, and special effects cupcake pink.

Which do I do first? Do I dye the hair black first, then bleach the part (that I didn’t touch with the black dye, because I know it would be pretty damaging to my hair if I did it that way) or do I bleach it first, then put the black on my hair? (vice-versa to what I wrote in the previous parenthesis?

ok what I would do is dye it black,then bleach the part you want pink,my friends did this but with yellow it looked sooo good
