this could be many things, the first thing that come to my head is a Reverse Sneeze, Is it a small dog? I would do a search on this and see if that is what it is. If not I could list others.

reverse sneeze, if its loud and sometimes constant. The dog could have a cold and mucous in his lungs and nose If could be a heart murmur as he is trying to breathe and can’t cause of his heart getting slightly bigger.

Take your pup to the vet. its around $50 and worth the peace of mind

What kind of dog do you have? I would like to know what kind of dog you have first. Makes a big difference in my advice. If it is a Pug or a Poodle.

Long nose of short nose…I’ve had two dogs who do the reverse sneezing…it happens when they get excited…It’s got something to do with the epiglotis…
