Why is my Dell laptop working slowly and freezing up?

i had some creepy virus but its gone now and nownmy computer is not working, like super slow. I ran a scan to delete any viruses and it did but yet syill the same. Some things wont open and ive been sitting here for about 30 minutes waiting for my internet to pop uo and still nothing. It freezes and wont let me close the webpage HELP!!! Ive had it for about 8 months

You’ll probably have to take it to a tech person and have your system cleaned and everything. Dell is a very poor brand of computers, at least from my personal experiences they are. I suggest if you ever get a new laptop don’t get a dell.

yes I agree. I have a dell and I have a same problem i bought new computer because laptop is very very warming up. as for me your computer warm up too. try to cooling. it will be fix.

Agreed. Dell’s put very low end parts in their computers. Doesn’t matter how fast your CPU is if your mother board is a POS.
