I have done a 15 month tour in Iraq. You would think I’m happy to be home but I’m ready to go back! Do you think I need to be checked out?
It doesn’t sound that strange to me. I have friends that were in the army, and they loved it. When they got home they said life was so boring, that they missed being away and doing things everyday.
There’s nothing wrong with liking the thrill :-)
As you well know, a lot of great and noble things are being done there, of which you contributed - not strange at all - thank you for your service and whatever decision, I wish you the best !!
