Harvard is ranked #1 or #2 in all US polls. Berkeley is ranked in the top ten.

Harvard is for the independant, mature student. They will not baby you. Berkeley is very liberal and a new age school. It is respected. Stanford is ranked higher than Berkeley I believe and carries better weight in the future.

you need a 4.0 in most of these Universities.

I assume you mean Harvard University-its and Ivy league school and requires top grades to get in. Berkley is a good school,not Ivy league and easier to get into I’m sure. The biggest difference between the 2–probably tuition prices.
