What wrong with norton? or msn?

Well I had like some weird pop-ups appearing out of no where and I think my laptop got something so I quickly got norton 360 and downloaded it (security system) now my msn won’t work :\ I mean the windows live messenger…it was the updated kind but I don’t know why it won’t work! and ebuddys all messed up for some reason to.. does anyone know how to fix either msn or ebuddy or even whats going on here? :P any other suggestions would be cool too! thanks ! :D

Sounds like you are having a problem with spyware.

Check your firewall settings. I don’t like anything by Norton. If you just want an antivirus, just get the free Avast or AVG or Avira AntiVir. They are all free. You can also use the much praised product from Microsoft which is also free: MSE or Microsoft Security Essentials.
