What will happen to my cane corso puppy?

I have a 6 month old cane corso puppy.my friend was watching him and she didnt tell me that her dog was in heat.my dog bred with her dog and he is only 6 months.will this stunt his growth?

I agree with phrannie but want to add… please neuter your dog. If you do, you won’t have to worry about ‘accidental’ litters…

No it won’t stunt his growth

…AND, after being on this site for as long as I have, there’s every reason to believe that all he did was hump her (so many think this is all it takes). Since he is a large dog, his hormones are just now starting to kick in…and an immature puppy, would at best be confused as to why he was doing what he was doing.

The problem would have come if another mature dog had been in the mix, your pup could have gotten hurt.
