What happened to the Microsoft site?

I bought a game at Walmart, Wednesday it was Age of Empires Collectors Addititon. I installed it to my computer useing the directions it gave me.after installed a menu showed up it said click here to start paly Age of Empires. It took me to microsoft .com and it showed up as an error has accrod meaning that the web site was not found. I want to say ok i wasted $10, but I want to know what happened to the microsoft site. Any advice will help!
