If you are in high school, try walking up to her and asking her if she has a pen, or a piece of paper. Then, casually ask her if she might need help with any of her homework or to study for a test that has been bothering her. You might then could ask her over to your house to study someday and casually get to know her a little better and talk a while. If you guys start to hang out, then you can ask her if she would like to go out and watch a movie. If none of that works, I have plenty more ideas. Just let me know!
