What should my song be about?

Well I wrote a song called “Runaway”(PLEASE DON’T STEAL THE NAME) and it was based of a true story about me wanting to runaway…I’m a musican to what you have right now is what we call a bad case of writers block…Just write about what your going thru right now…Here you can use this example:

EMO TYPE: V1: I’m going down, down, down, without u. u’ll never know how much my heart bleeds for u. I would tare my heart out for u, I would cry until my eyes bled, I would scream until I sufficated, I would kill my dreams for u, Just please take this bloody mess of a heart to destroy and hurt…your so sick…I love u.

ROCK TYPE: V1: I don’t need you and you don’t need me. My life is better off without u. If you wanted me you should’nt have kicked me out on the streets but, oh well come see me at my show.

dude, wrong approach. you cant have people tell you what to write. You need inspiration. listen to your favorite bands on a cloudy day xD sounds kinda emo, but it works for me

You should right a song about a girl who’s boyfriend has just dumped her and how she’s decided she doesn’t need him anymore. They always go down well
