What should I wear to my interview?

I’m 18 and I have an interview at Steak N’ Shake (A restaurant with a 50’s theme known for steak burgers and hand-dipped milkshakes). I’ve only had 2 jobs before and I’ve only been to three interviews. None of my jobs before have been very professional though just a grocery store and a work-study job at my college, but I feel like working in a restaurant would definitely be a step-up. I’m not sure what to wear for my interview though and I really really want this job. My mom always wears a dress suit or a skirt and a blazer type look, but I don’t want to look older than I am and I want to feel comfortable at my interview.. My daily attire is usually a sun dress and a cardigan and either flats or flip-flops. I figure I could probably try to dress up my daily outfit by wearing a pair of my dark flats and one of my longer dresses and maybe just doing my hair and makeup and accessories to look a bit dressier.. But I don’t know if there’s a certain color or style I should stick to.. Like would a v-neck look trampy? And would pink make the manager unable to take me seriously? And is it okay to be bare-legged? Or should I wear tights or panty hose? My interview’s tomorrow morning and I can’t figure out what to wear.. Someone please help?!

Yeah, exactly what jammimlexie said. Black pants look really good for interviews. You can wear something like a button up dressy shirt. You don’t want to wear something that’s not you.

hmmm… just be yourself and don’t get the sense of looking good and stylish take your head! wear something casual and cute just to impress the interviewers that you can carry good clothes in a simple and good way… (that wud help with the uniform)!

I would just wear black slick pants and a nice & cute, sort of dressy top. Just don’t show cleavage. I also wear a little bit of a heel so make me look more professional lol. That’s what I always wear to my interviews and I’ve gotten quite a few jobs. Hope I helped!
