Who thinks I should start selling Avon?

I reallyy need a job but its getting hard to get one so im thinking of selling avon. I need the money im about to graduate, I’ve applied everywhere and nothing. so what are the advantages and disadvantages? should I start selling avon or not? I’m 18 years old.

I used to sell Avon and it has it’s pros and cons.

Pros: -you work at your own pace -you get to try new products for discount prices

Cons: -you need to have a huge client base just to make a fair amount of income -Avon often sends you product that you didn’t order and you either have to pay for it out of your own pocket, or ship it back to them (again - out of your own pocket)

I stopped selling it because it was more trouble than it was worth.

Totally agree wit above advise. My mum used to do it. It was a hassle lots of work to do wit it.

I encourage you to learn as much as you can about managing a small business because that knowledge is very important with any business. Get help on how to create a business plan to follow. A business plan focuses on your marketing strategy,planning for alternative ways to over come obstacles, financial management, etc.There are pros and cons to any business. Do research or try it out to see if you are interested. You benefit on how much time and effort you put into it.
